About the Instructor
Anna Touchstone
Anna began playing the violin at age 6. She studied violin at Lipscomb University, earning a BA in Music in 2024. She performed in the school’s piano trio and string quartet while there, and she was concertmaster of the orchestra. Additionally, she has played fiddle with a touring band and has recorded violin parts for several music artists. As a teen, she played in a rigorous touring violin group that performed choreographed shows across the country and world.
Anna always wanted to be a teacher from a young age, and she started teaching violin when she was 15. She has earned teaching certifications from the Suzuki Association of the Americas in Suzuki Violin Books 1-4. Anna is passionate about helping her students become well-rounded, accomplished violinists who find joy and fulfillment in making music. She seeks to tailor lessons to each student’s specific needs and goals, and she loves cheering on her students as they learn and grow.
